Hello all, It has been a new year since I last reached out hope it is going well thus far, I am participating in a couple group shows in the next couple weeks. The first one is at
5 Claude Lane they have asked for my three crowns made entirely out of cigarette packs, butts, punker studs, and other found objects. If you have yet to see them in person it is well worth the trip. Here is the information for this show, a lot of talented artists showing here.

The new year brings with it the promise of new ideas and everything that they portend. In anticipation of a series of high caliber exhibitions throughout the year highlighting the work of some of the Bay Area's most brilliant emerging and mid-career artists, Days to Come offers a selection of the artists that will be featured in exhibitions at 5 Claude Lane Gallery throughout the 2012 year. The show features work from over a dozen Bay Area artists with varied backgrounds, working in an extremely diverse range of media and subject matter, including Steve MacDonald's boldly gilded and embroidered canvases, Peter Adamyan's unapologetic satirical criticisms of American consumerism, and JR Doty's surreal and hauntingly nostalgic photos of aging theme park rides. The show will also feature site-specific installations by Kristin Farr and Rachel Burnstein.

Exhibiting artists will include Peter Adamyan, Helen Bayly, Alex Braubach, Chelsea Brown, Rachel Burnstein, Mia Christopher, JR Doty, Audrey Erickson, Kristin Farr, Serge Gay Jr., Nicole Gervacio, Bo Heimlich, Steve MacDonald, Martin Machado, Lucien Shapiro, Paul Solis, Alphonzo Solorzano, and Daniel Valadez. Please join us for the opening reception on January 26th, 2012, from 6 to 9 pm.

5 Claude Lane is an intimate and contemporary art gallery located in San Francisco's Financial District. Led by gallery director Leila Seppa, the historic 1,000-foot space serves as an incubator for the local Bay Area Art community, including gatherings of emerging talent in collaboration with non-profits.

Hello all,
Time has arrived again for another year of The Alternative Press Expo. As usual me and Brad Isdrab will be sharing a booth located at table 124. This year they have decided to put us out of the way so when you walk in the door we are at the top front left corner. I will have a new cast, flocked, hand painted piece limited to 25 this round, and a few new posed pod babies and sculpture pins and hairclips. Hope to see some of you there. Well like many shows everything always seems to happen the same month. So first off thanks to anyone that came out to The Night Of The Treeple last week. Me and Brad Isdrab (www.bradisdrab.com) worked hard making a giant 8 and 1/2 foot tree to support our friend Alex Pardee's new apparel launch.check this out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2-hQw64uvuA . pics of the tree soon. Hello all, any, and some there are some new shows coming about in September.
I will be having 4 new paintings at a nice establishment in New Jersey
called Dash Interiors the address is 140 Bay St. Suite 2 Jersey City NJ
07302 Sept 7th from 7-10, and works can be seen during normal business hours
the entire month of sept. This is the first time in 5 years that I will be
showing paintings they are abstract and completely different from my
sculptures. So have Enjoy.

Also in Miami I have sent 3 sculptures to be part of a huge group exhibition
with some talented artists. This will take place on Sept. 8th at the Harold
Golen Gallery which is at 2921 N.W. 6th Ave in the Wynword Art Distirict in
Miami Florida.

so so long ago i was keeping track of the blog.. well i have been in NY
three weeks.. i have been working my ass off, helping remodel some friends
of mine's new home. A lot of work and I did what I could and now I am off.
Nick and Sarah are hospitable as all have been on this trip.. Good to know
what you got. So while in Ny the only cops that hasseled us was at coney
island, thought we were some punk kids imagine that....saw some stuff, drank
some stuff, found out my bites were really methicillin-resistant
staphylococcus aureus,, no its not an std, its an infection common in all
humans and some non humans like myself.... but i am healed and hope to not
be fucked up again on this trip.. once again hobbled around because of the
swelling. so i read a bunch and now am off with my friend ty---son to
montreal canada where we will have fun, good bye america.. be back soon.

so i made it to Jersey shore, man was it dead... whiskey is alive and well
though... I am now in Brooklyn. nick and sara have a fix it up house.. so
im helping them out for a while.. ate dimsum, and wandered the city with
nick, then out drinking..... I like NY... no incredible stories to tell
yet.. just pole climbs.... and BBQ 's on the block.. eating like ive never
eaten before..... Be here for weeks so stay tuned something is bound to

So the spider bites are eminent...I am still in Georgia... had to go to the
doc's yesterday and get a giant shot in my ass, and now im taking
antibiotics.... I denied the pain pills,, pain is good, sometimes. So each
morning and night I squeeze the yellowish green puss from the eraser head
size holes in my body, then i hydrogen peroxide it,, and hot compress.. boy
this is a great trip.. im learning every inside and out peace of this
country.... yea....

SO i guess in texas or somewhere between georgia and texas i got bit by a
spider, scorpion , who the fuck knows.... two of the bites have healed but
two others one on my knee and one on my ass swelled up to a pusy stinger
mess. so i am in georgia for one last fine home cooked meal by leia and
night of drinking bud light with steve...i am limping around and cant drive
to virginia until swelling stops sometime in the next 24 hours... god damn
bugs,,, the only thing in california that ever made me do this was when i
put on a motorcycle helmet and realized it was filled with mouse droppings
and my face broke out in some crazy ass hives... oh the happy traveling has
to come with pain to teach me a lesson.... damn bugs... damn lessons....

SO I have been drinking and drinking in Georgia, mosquitos eat me daily..
humid and stank in my car.... but My friends Leia and steve got hitched up
and it was great..... Atlanta...... more crack head hustlers then SF if you
can believe that..... But since the bama police nothing too exciting has
happened, except watching motorcycles reving, head buts and garage play ...
Georgia they got peaches here....i did sleep on the concrete last night
forming a pillow with some double ply toilet paper i dragged from Steve and
leia's near tree they got tpeeeed on their wedding day.. and i thought i was
inmature..... i did wake up inside though..this trip has been everything it
should be...

GOd Damn.. i do not ever want to be a trucker. i began my journey alone
yesteday. Had a great last few nights in Texas and got off to a late start.
Then on my drive somewhere in louisiana mapquest had me get off the i-10
so after driving the deep back woods i realized by using my trusty atlas
givin to me by the nice lady at state farm that i was two hours north of
where i needed to be. Got back on the interstate and began again. You know
when youve been driving for 12 hours straight through numerous states and
you get into a nice one like alabama the police always want to pull you
over for little things like not using your blinker and such. so after i was
asked to get out of the car because not using your blinker apparently is
very wreckeless at 2:30 in the morning in Alabama, all his back up arrived
because although he wasnt going to ticket me just warn me i look like a
terrorist. After the small talk he kindly asked if i would mind if he
searched my car. Of course i minded seeing as i still had many hours to
drive and knowing he didnt have the right eighthr i said sure sir no using
in getting an alabama beating with no proof, signed his little paper hoping
i left all my uzies and shotguns in Texas..Then he proceeds to empty my
filled trunk and constantly asking where the marijuana is hidden. Apparently
there was a leaf of it drawn onto something on my key chain.. Now thats good
detective work.huh . finally and hour later he lets me go.. Hey Alabama
FUCK OFFFF.. continued on the road now with more adrenaline then before i
finished the drive like a savage left at 2 :30 pm Texas time and arrived at
6:45am Georgia time. about 15 hours straight. I know I know im a .......
no pics yet..... who knows if i will even have time.. i barely have time for
this rantt.. bye bye

Drove to Lubbock, boy you wouldnt imagine the beauty behind texas at 1 am.
Dry county scared of beasts and scared to serve nuttin but the finest in
bootleg beer.. beetles attack and drop bomb like hedons... Lubbock was the
most expensive hotel room yet and it came with a free beetle being devoured
by ants....... Austin mr babel and Lewee ripped an awesome palpitation to
the local who were just there for some dinner..... thanks to Robert at
churizo records, for all his hospitality.... and now we pulled into austin.

Drove all day and night until we got to Needles California, what a truely
AmaAAAAAAAAAzing town Needles is. Lake Havasu is 115 degrees and we
happened to roll in the day the anti skin , music, and alcohol law was
passed. so we swam in our t -shirts sipping pop humming tunes under our
breathes not even loud enough for the man made fish to hear......arizona was
a drive through red rocks and funny looks....Then New Mexico where our hotel
room was filled with the invisible roaches, ahhhh we coulda got a weekly
rate if we wanted....... then the town was filled with Lobos'''''
literally.....and now we wait for mike giant to tattoo noelle.. then on out
way to Austin, this drive will be AMAAAAAAAAAzzing SON......

Start the drive Fri. Camping, then Sedona, to Santa Fe, and on to Austin. Noelle, Lewee, and I depart for the low west take off to Texas.
