Hello All and Any,    It has been quite a long time since I have updated you on the happenings in my creative endeavors and life. Navigating this new world has made me less driven to show you what I have been up to, but more interested in learning, preparing, and going inward. That being said, I won't go into further feelings on the current state of the world, but instead highlight some positive projects I am giving to the world! 1. Mt Shasta School of Sculpture Inspired by the Shasta mountain and the healing water that flows beneath it, the Mt Shasta School of Sculpture is for the magical non-believers. We treat all equally and with Love and Light, but with a stabbing motion to your face. So arm yourself with the knowledge that all you have to heal and manifest lives inside your heart. Like a circle we get what we give. The future is Together. We are not planted in the ground but root where we roam. It's different here. We are the outcasts, weird doesn't exist, meditation is mandatory, and exercise and healthy foods are key. Performance at Cakeland LA "BITTER SWEET" Saturday, October 17, 2020 7:00 PM 10:00 PM Cakeland LA 936 Mei Ling Way Los Angeles, CA, 90012 United States (map) Lucien Shapiro's performance entitled, "Bitter Sweet" will take place at Cakeland's Beauty War. Supplementary to the themes of Cakeland, Shapiro will offer his own unique and mesmerizing spin on Light and Darkness. He will help you see how you react and harness each of these energies, both individually and together. There is only Light because of Darkness, and vice versa.  After traversing through Cakeland, you will descend into Shapiro's world of meticulous art and exploration. Through Shapiro's gentle guidance and artistic practice, you will be able to see the true strength you hold within your self while also releasing the things that no longer serve you. It's a guided and safe adventure unto yourself. Participants are not asked to speak, and you can experience the performance however you wish. You hold the power.  Now more than ever we need to venture inward and feel comfortable with who we are, our beliefs, and what we have gone through, in order to arrive at the present moment fresh and ready for whatever comes next. BUY TICKETS TO THE PERFORMANCE. 3. Mask Memoir "Mask Memoir" is a fun quarantine project myself and partner Kelly of Ziran created to explore the different masks we wear. We styled my masks with her facemasks and clothing and photographed the looks throughout Mt. Shasta. LEARN MORE ABOUT MASK MEMOIR. 4. Conversatin Collective Conversatin' Projects is a collaboration between myself, Brett Amory, Shaun Roberts, and Derek Weisberg that began in 2013 and continues today. Essentially, this project is about the sharing of ideas with people who are having similar conversations in their work. For the past 6 months, we have held weekly and monthly raffles for select pieces of our work. All raffle sales are donated to various social and environmental justice organizations.
